Thakkar's Accounting Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, maintain employee benefits records, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including trial balances, and reconcile accounts.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
