About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at JALA ACCOUNTING. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including trial balance, balance sheet, and income statement, to provide insights for business decision-making.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
