We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Win-Mar Freight Systems. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Job Description

As a Long Haul Truck Driver with Win-Mar Freight Systems, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Overseeing condition of vehicle and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Performing pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and overseeing all aspects of vehicle
  • Transporting and handling dangerous goods

You will be required to have a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) and a Driver's License (Class 1 or A).

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as a Long Haul Truck Driver at Win-Mar Freight Systems, you will need to possess:

  • A valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • A Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Excellent navigation skills and knowledge of road networks
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers and colleagues

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This role requires working in a physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to heavy loads and varied weather conditions. You must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
