Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

At Yellow Star Transport Ltd, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials
  • Operate and maintain the vehicle, including performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and storage
  • Communicate with central dispatch and customers to relay information and resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport
  • Valid driver's license
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working on the road, traveling to various locations across the country. You will be required to spend extended periods away from home, but you will have the opportunity to see new places and experience different cultures.
