Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

GO JETS GO TRANSPORT INC. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a semi-trailer truck across the country, following a predetermined route and schedule.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communicate with central dispatch and customers to receive and relay information.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks)
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Criminal record check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Medical exam
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working on the road, often for extended periods. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
