Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Canada Inc is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Load and unload goods
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport
  • Basic security clearance
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
