Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. Key Responsibilities
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient service delivery
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff to prepare and portion food, maintaining high standards of quality and safety
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and inventory management
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, monitoring expenses and optimizing resources
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing insights for business growth and improvement
  • Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in food service management, with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
