Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Yummy Punjabi Flavours Inc is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Supervise Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation and portioning of food, ensuring that it meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train Staff: Provide comprehensive training to our staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on key performance indicators.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and move quickly in a busy kitchen environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
