About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Planning Manager to join our team at Sephora Canada. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and leading brand planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve financial objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create brand budget plans, forecast sales and inventory needs, and develop new brand strategies
  • Own the monthly in-season Open to Buy (OTB) forecast of sales and inventory needs within budgeted goals
  • Lead store-level forecasts and orders for Canada to achieve financial goals and objectives
  • Analyze and validate inventory needs for animations, promos, and overall assortment productivity, providing recommendations to the Merchandising Team for presentation improvements, discontinuations, and new product development
  • Partner with the US Planning Team to ensure alignment with Canada brand management, including developing liquidation strategy on exit brands/collections that are not being RTV
  • Maintain consistent communication with vendors regarding sales performance, in-stocks, and outstanding issues while providing basic forecast for future monthly to gain target fill rate
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in planning and/or buying in the retail space with a Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in business, retail management, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to find solutions to complex problems
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
