About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Systems Developer to join our team at Halliwell Consulting Corp.

Responsibilities
  • Create software and digital solutions for current and new SCADA/MES clients using multiple languages including JSON, Python, T-SQL, HTML, JAVA & .NET.
  • Develop code and scripting to apply to industrial automation systems such as Ignition and/or FactoryTalk SE.
  • Design detailed functional specifications and process flow diagrams to visualize system capabilities.
  • Integrate database applications with real-time and PLC-controlled automation systems to ensure seamless data exchange.
  • Manage client relationships and project scope, providing input on quotes and scheduling under the direction of Account Managers.
  • Commission and debug client systems remotely or on-site to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and/or Control Systems is required.
  • 5+ years of experience working with JSON, Python, JAVA & .NET, T-SQL, or HTML/CSS is essential.
  • Certification in Inductive Automation Ignition Platform (Core, Gold, or equivalent) is necessary.
  • Experience with database creation and optimization techniques is a must.
  • A creative mind for designing user-friendly interfaces with strong attention to detail is crucial.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members are required.
  • Strong analytical, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
  • A highly motivated team player with a positive attitude is a must.
  • Programming experience with PLC's is an asset.
Benefits
  • The salary for this position is estimated to be between $90-110k per year, based on industry standards and location.
