We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP, Client Management to join our team at Munich Reinsurance Company of Canada. As a key member of our client management team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our clients' strategies and business needs
* Identify and act on current and future demand trends in traditional and bespoke reinsurance
* Develop client-specific sales strategies and prepare high-quality sales presentations
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify non-traditional opportunities and maintain a sales pipeline
* Negotiate with clients and brokers to facilitate deal prospection, preparation, and closing
* Develop and maintain deal practices and processes

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent
* Minimum 10 years of re-/insurance experience, preferably with an Actuarial background
* Proactive contributor with a drive to meet client demand and position MROC as a market leader
* High emotional intelligence to foster client and team relationships
* Ability to negotiate best outcomes for long-term and sustained profitability
* Solid knowledge of Corporate Finance and Capital Management
* Proven track record in concluding non-traditional reinsurance covers
* Proven skills and experience in managing major projects
* Excellent analytical, negotiating, and investigative competencies
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
* Adaptability and flexibility
