Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Real Estate Market Researcher to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth research on the commercial real estate market in the Greater Vancouver Area.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct research on commercial property sales in the Greater Vancouver Area, including online and phone-based research
- Analyze commercial property sales data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Cold call industry players to gather information and build relationships
- Contribute to the publication of weekly newsletters and data in Canadian publications
- Attend industry events to stay up-to-date on market trends and best practices
- Perform site inspections to collect data on building details
- Develop and maintain an understanding of commercial real estate activity in the Greater Vancouver Area
- Build relationships with brokers, stakeholders, planners, and developers to foster data cooperation
Requirements
- University degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate, Business, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate, preferably within the brokerage industry
- Past experience working with databases and word processing applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (an asset)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish trusted relationships with industry professionals

This role offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
