Food Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Store Supervisor to join our team at Fresh Slice Pizza. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our products are of the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our sales staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.
- Provide guidance and support to our staff to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Inventory Management
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise to ensure that our shelves are always fully stocked and that our products are fresh and of high quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for ordering and stock control.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Store Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security.
- Ensure that the store is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a retail or food service environment
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
