We are seeking a Recreation Coordinator for Community Development to join our team at Services de bien-être et moral des Forces canadiennes - SBMFC. As a Recreation Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading recreation and fitness programs, organizing charity events, and providing support to Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans, and their families.

Job Summary
As a Recreation Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing and delivering recreation and fitness programs that cater to the needs of our community members. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement programs that promote physical activity, social connections, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and deliver recreation and fitness programs for children, youth, and adults
• Collaborate with our team to develop and implement programs that promote physical activity and social connections
• Work with community members to identify their needs and develop programs that meet those needs
• Lead activities that promote physical and mental well-being
• Ensure a safe and healthy environment for program participants
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
• Valid driver's license (Ontario)
• Experience working with children and youth
• Experience designing and delivering recreation and fitness programs
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary
Salary is approximately $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Language
English is the primary language of communication for this position. Fluency in both English and French is an asset.

Location
This position is based in Ontario, with the possibility of relocation to other provinces or territories within Canada.
