THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aerobics Instructor to join our team at Personnel Support Programs. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation, and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.

Under the supervision of the Community Recreation Coordinator, you will plan, organize, and deliver aerobics classes, prepare class schedules, design programs, and assist with advertising and public relations.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A high school diploma and some years of experience conducting aerobics classes
  • Aerobics Instructors Certification
  • Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and delivering aerobic classes, monitoring and controlling large groups of participants, ensuring safety protocols and procedures, and providing customer service
  • Competencies in client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

English is essential for this role, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
