With opportunities for development, you can progress in your role by obtaining your mutual fund representative licence and expand your responsibilities, particularly by performing mutual fund transactions.

Your Key Responsibilities


  • Listen to clients' needs and resolve complex situations.
  • Provide advice and solutions for Personal and Small Business clients to meet their transaction, investment, personal financing, made-to-measure insurance, and estate planning needs.
  • Support clients through the mortgage renewal or renegotiation process.
  • Evaluate client satisfaction and engagement.
  • Refer clients to specialist colleagues for specific needs.
  • Ensure compliance and risk management rules are followed.


Your Team

The branch operates one evening a week, and various work schedules are possible. You will report to the Branch Manager and work with a team of experts specializing in investment, mortgage financing, and other areas. The team values passionate people and bold ideas and works together to ensure clients reach their goals and colleagues do what they love.

After gaining necessary experience as a Banking Advisor, many options will be available to you. For example, you could advance in the same role, get promoted, or move to another region or branch. We encourage internal mobility and offer many career opportunities.

Our training programs use on-the-job learning to help you master your role. Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:


  • A college diploma (DEC) or equivalent qualification.
  • A mutual fund representative (MFR) licence – if not already held, you must obtain it within three months of hiring.
  • Advisory service experience, an inclusive attitude, and openness to diversity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • French speaking is a strong asset.
