Job Summary

The Events Operator Lead plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of catering and premium services. This role requires strong leadership skills, as the individual will be responsible for training and guiding staff, ensuring the completion of tasks, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and assign daily work tasks within a premium services environment.
  • Ensure the completion of tasks within catering, restaurant, or suites environments.
  • Train and guide staff on job duties, customer service, and proper food safety and sanitation.
  • Set up work areas according to guest/client requests and Aramark standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized service area, including replenishment of products and adherence to safety policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating guests' needs and maintaining a positive attitude.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a supervisor in a related role is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a server or in a food service role is required.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Working knowledge of food safety principles and procedures, with the ability to obtain a food safety certification.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

This role may require physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
