Baker - Pastry Chef

We are seeking a skilled Baker - Pastry Chef to join our team at Sugar Blooms and Cakes Inc. as a key member of our production team.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Maintenance and Operations: Operate machinery, organize and maintain inventory, and perform other tasks as required.
- Education and Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent education and training.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
