We are seeking a seasoned Restaurant Manager to join our team at A & W. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to lead our restaurant operations and drive business success.

About the Role

In this critical leadership position, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, managing staff performance, and implementing effective strategies to improve customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and staff performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor Staff Performance: Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and develop training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Create schedules, manage inventory, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Train Staff: Develop and deliver training programs to equip staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
  • Balance Cash and Complete Balance Sheets: Manage cash handling, prepare balance sheets, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Regularly assess staff performance, provide feedback, and develop action plans to improve performance.
  • Cost Products and Services: Analyze menu pricing, inventory costs, and labor expenses to optimize profitability.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Manage inventory levels, conduct stocktakes, and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Regulations: Implement and maintain health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Address Customer Complaints or Concerns: Respond promptly to customer complaints, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Provide Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, respond to their needs, and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 Years' Experience: Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • English Language: Fluent in English language, both written and spoken.
  • Permanent Employment: Willingness to commit to permanent employment.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 based on industry standards and location.
