Restaurant Assistant Manager

About the Job

As a Restaurant Assistant Manager at McDonald's Restaurant, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Provide guidance and support to restaurant staff, encourage teamwork and foster a positive work environment.
  • Operations: Manage restaurant operations, including inventory control, cash handling, and customer service.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and coach staff to improve performance.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive excellent service, respond to customer complaints, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure that the restaurant is safe and secure, follow health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to staff, including on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
