The BC Ltd company is seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and train staff to provide excellent customer service.

About the Role:

This position is responsible for monitoring revenues, determining labour costs, and ensuring that the restaurant operates efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and motivate a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service and a positive dining experience;
  • Monitor revenues and determine labour costs to ensure efficient operation of the restaurant;
  • Manage inventory and maintain high standards of quality and safety;
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and productivity;
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff;
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. The ideal candidate must be able to work 35 hours per week in a permanent position.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as an assistant restaurant manager or in a similar role;
  • Degree in Hospitality or a related field;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks;
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Estimated Salary:$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
