Job Summary

The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account room availability and guest preferences.
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, as well as recommendations for local attractions and activities.
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, including first aid and fire evacuation protocols.
  • Perform various clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, as needed.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff, ensuring prompt and efficient communication.
  • Assist guests with special needs, such as wheelchair accessibility and mobility assistance.
  • Contact guests to deliver requested wake-up calls and provide general information about hotel services and amenities.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a customer service or front desk role is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to work a 40-hour week, with flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
Work Environment

The Front Desk Agent will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, interacting with guests and staff on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
