About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Hauler to join our team at Alliance Transport Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining a tractor-trailer unit to transport goods and materials across various locations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain a tractor-trailer unit to transport goods and materials
- Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure they are in good working condition
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to identify any issues or defects
- Loading and unloading goods, adhering to safety protocols and procedures
- Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information regarding cargo, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption accurately and efficiently
- Maintain accurate driver logbooks and other required documentation
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery
Requirements:
- AZ Class license
- Air Brakes Endorsement
- Valid driver's licence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
What We Offer:
