Organizational Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Organizational Development Specialist to support our team's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to Toromont's Health and Safety Policies.
  • Collaborate with the OD Consultant to design and implement innovative learning methodologies, engaging employees at all levels.
  • Coordinate learning and development logistics, including marketing and promotion of programs.
  • Provide content and updates for the Company website.
  • Schedule program offerings with the OD team and Business Partners to support business needs.
  • Develop and design participant learning materials, including activity sheets, handbooks, and visuals.
  • Manage registration processes, LMS enrollment, and course completion evaluations.
  • Select venues and schedule events.
  • Organize and execute shipment of materials, classroom setup, and design for live and virtual sessions.
  • Deliver Employee Development Programs, leveraging virtual classroom technologies.
  • Develop and manage evaluation tools, online assessments, and questionnaires to collect data for learning dashboard metrics.
  • Partner with the OD team and HR Business Partners to prepare needs analysis and determine learning and performance requirements.
  • Support the Development and Implementation of the OD Framework, including animation development, program tools, and resources.
  • Provide support to the OD team in launching the Leadership Academy, including project management, administration, and logistics.
  • Conduct and facilitate learning sessions across various Toromont programs.
  • Support administration around 360 programs and related reporting.
  • Prepare data summaries of employee experience surveys for the OD team and HR Business Partners.
  • Provide support to the OD team and HR Business Partners during the Talent Review Process.
  • Manage ongoing administration and collection of data for Canada Job Training Grants.
  • Respond to and facilitate employee inquiries and requests.
  • Support HR Systems on various assignments.
  • Actively support the HR Team in planning and organizing employee and community involvement events.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
  • Post-secondary education in Learning or Diversity and Inclusion Programs.
  • Customer-centric approach and strong team player with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to handle confidential/sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proficient in learning new systems and implementing new tools or programs.
