About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at AFPS - Accurate Fire Protection & Security. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Equipment: Inspect products to determine the requirements for repair and test electronic equipment and assemblies to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Repair and Install Equipment: Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power or specially designed tools, and install electronic equipment as required.
  • Diagnose and Troubleshoot: Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults, and adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies as needed.
  • Complete Reports: Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports to ensure accurate documentation of all work performed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
