About the Role

Finn's Seafood Chops Cocktails is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Cost Management: Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure optimal profitability.
  • Operational Analysis: Analyze operating costs and other data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Culinary Innovation: Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to our cooking staff, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise the activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Menu Development: Create new recipes and menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Culinary Training: Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food, ensuring that our team is equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional results.
  • Event Catering: Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets, ensuring that every guest receives an exceptional dining experience.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, ensuring that every dish meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that our kitchen is well-stocked and equipped to meet the demands of our menu.
  • Menu Planning: Plan menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation, ensuring that every dish is a reflection of our culinary excellence.
  • Culinary Safety: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring that every guest receives a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that our team is equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional results.
