We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at AIMS 5 HOLDINGS INC. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
- Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to meet customer demands
- Wrap and package prepared meats for display
- Train and mentor junior meat cutters to maintain high standards
- Prepare visually appealing displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed in the workplace
- Manage the efficient operation of package handling and storage
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Permanent employment opportunity
- 30 to 40 hours of work per week
- English language as the primary language of communication
