We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team at ABRISHAM HALAL MEAT & GROCERY. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meats to order, ensuring high-quality products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
- Cut and trim meats to order, including carcasses, sides, and quarters
- Prepare special cuts of meat for customers
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Remove bones from meat
- Weigh meats for sale
- Cut poultry into parts
- Price meat products
- Sell meats to customers
- Grind meats
- Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a butcher shop or similar environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
- Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent client focus, dependability, and flexibility
This is a permanent position with a 30-45 hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment is essential.
