Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is a leading environmental consulting firm that provides expert services to clients across various industries. We are currently seeking an experienced Water Resources Specialist to join our team in Ontario, Canada.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in water resources engineering and management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a consulting or regulatory environment. The role will involve managing water resources projects, working with multidisciplinary teams, and providing technical expertise to clients. A valid G driver's license is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage water resources projects from concept to completion, including project planning, budgeting, and scheduling;
  • Work closely with senior engineers and scientists to develop project proposals, scope of work, and technical reports;
  • Provide technical expertise on water resources engineering, hydrology, and hydraulics;
  • Collaborate with other experts in the fields of permitting and regulatory compliance, geochemistry, hydrogeology, and environmental management;
  • Prepare and review technical reports, design briefs, and other project documents;
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an Engineering or Science program, with an emphasis on water resources and hydrology;
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in consulting or regulatory environment, regularly using and analyzing water quality and quantity data;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively;
  • A valid G driver's license;
