About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at AR-TEK Services Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights for business decision-making.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations for cost savings and process enhancements.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a financial operations role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
