Job Title: Financial Secretary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Secretary to join our team at Peel Financial Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Team Operations: Ensure the smooth flow of information within the team, including coordinating meetings, appointments, and tasks.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the finance team, including opening and distributing mail, preparing financial statements, and operating computerized inventory record keeping systems.
  • Training and Development: Train other workers on office procedures and routines, and provide cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Language and Work Environment: Fluency in English is required, and the work environment is welcoming and inclusive.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent position with 34 hours per week.
