Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Secretary to join our team at Peel Financial Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the flow of information within the team, planning and organizing daily operations, and providing administrative support to our financial department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the flow of information within the team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
  • Provide administrative support to the financial department, including typing and proofreading correspondence, forms, and other documents.
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information to support financial decision-making.
  • Operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems.
