Financial Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Secretary to join our team at Peel Financial Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the flow of information within the team, planning and organizing daily operations, and providing administrative support to our financial department.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the flow of information within the team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
- Provide administrative support to the financial department, including data entry, record-keeping, and report preparation.
- Train other workers on financial procedures and policies.
- Determine and establish office procedures and routines to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events.
- Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries.
- Compile data, statistics, and other information to support financial decision-making.
- Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
- Submit credit and loan applications to management for review and approval.
- Prepare financial statements and reports to support business operations.
- Operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems.
The successful candidate will also provide support to newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed in their new role.
Support for YouthsThe candidate will also provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth, promoting diversity and inclusion within the organization.
Support for Indigenous PeopleThe successful candidate will provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers, promoting diversity and inclusion within the organization.
