Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at India House Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, as well as ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and supplies to ensure consistency and excellence in our dishes.
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
    • Monitor kitchen inventory and supplies to prevent waste and optimize resource allocation.
  • Food Safety and Quality
    • Ensure that all food preparation and handling procedures meet the highest standards of food safety and quality.
    • Conduct regular kitchen inspections to identify and address any potential food safety risks.
  • Team Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing kitchen team that is committed to excellence and customer satisfaction.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to kitchen staff to improve performance and address any issues.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
  • Work Hours
    • 32 to 40 hours per week.
