Job Description
This role involves coordinating all stages of the billing process, including maintaining relationships with legal assistants, initiating billing, and addressing bill processing requests. Key responsibilities include:
  • Processing invoices on e-billing platforms, uploading rates, budgets, and files;
  • Troubleshooting and resolving e-billing issues;
  • Ensuring compliance with firm approval policies and procedures;
  • Assisting legal assistants with billing enquiries.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a university or college degree in an accounting-related field and have experience in a professional services environment. Additional skills and qualifications include:
  • Accounting software proficiency; Excel skills and knowledge of SQL (an asset);
  • A good understanding of basic accounting principles related to billing, time, costs, and accounts receivables.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum.
