The Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) is one of Canada's largest multi-client asset managers, investing funds related to pension, insurance, and endowments. With over $77 billion in assets under management, the company aims to deliver dynamic, cost-efficient investing solutions for public sector pensions and investment funds in Ontario.
Job Description:- We are seeking an experienced Director of Business Operations and Client Success to join our Client Relationship Management (CRM) team.
- As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading business planning, coordinating management and board reporting, and overseeing client event coordination and communications.
In this role, you will develop and execute client communications, review and finalize client collateral, create and run client education seminars, and prepare client newsletters. You will also manage by influence and forge strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure client interests are at the forefront.
Responsibilities:- Lead the Business Management function for IMCO's CRM team, enabling the high-performing team to achieve its objectives.
- Support business planning, coordinate management and board reporting, and oversee client event coordination and communications.
- Develop and execute client communications, including applying a client lens to the review of investment publications and materials.
- Create and run client education seminars, prepare client newsletters, and lead internal initiatives and activities that impact and support building and strengthening relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Manage by influence and forge strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure client interests are at the forefront.
**Requirements:**
- Depth of related industry experience working in financial services, management consulting, or other relevant industries.
- Depth of related functional experience working in similar roles such as Chief of Staff, Business Management, or Operations.
- Good understanding of financial markets and investment products, experience working for an institutional asset manager is an asset.
- Experience structuring problems, resolving ambiguity, driving to decision and action, getting things done, delivering business results.
- Strong analytical skills and business judgement, business writing skills.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field of study, an advanced degree in Finance, MBA, or a related field and/or CFA/FRM/CAIA designation is an asset.
Estimated Salary: CAD 120,000 - CAD 180,000 per year.
