Job Title: Parts Person - Material Handling

Brandt is currently seeking a skilled Parts Person - Material Handling to join our team at our Brossard Construction & Forestry location. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for aiding customers in finding necessary parts, offering pricing information, and processing online parts orders.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Utilize a problem-solving approach to address challenges and find effective solutions.
  • Provide excellent customer service skills and build lasting partnerships with customers.
  • Unload, receive, and store incoming parts and other materials in the warehouse and yard.
  • Locate parts and other materials, and ship to customers and other branches.
  • Recognize substitute parts when necessary, leveraging knowledge of interchangeability to fulfill requirements effectively.
  • Offer support to branch service technicians as needed.
  • Place inventory stock orders.
  • Make inventory and bin adjustments.
  • Accurately and completely document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information.
  • Use parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems.
Required Skills:
  • Excellent customer service skills, both over the phone and in person.
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate peak seasons including working shift, weekends and holidays as required by operational needs.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Previous experience in the parts industry preferred.
  • Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills.
  • Journeyperson Certification is considered an asset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer and utilizing software such as Excel to input and manage data effectively.
