Job Overview

UPS is seeking a reliable and skilled individual to join our team as a Personal Vehicle Driver. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering packages to customers in residential areas using your personal vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve and load packages into your personal vehicle for delivery to customers.
  • Operate a vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Meet or exceed daily delivery targets and maintain a high level of productivity.

Requirements:

  • Meet local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Excellent customer contact and service skills.
  • Must be willing to use personal vehicle to transport and deliver packages.

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: $17.30/hour + $1.70/hour bonus.
  • UPS will reimburse you $0.59 for each kilometer you drive.

Working Conditions:

This is a temporary and seasonal part-time role that requires working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. You will be required to work a minimum of 3-5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 10am and 7pm. The start time is typically between 10am and noon.
