As a key member of our parts business, you will be responsible for aiding customers in finding necessary parts, offering pricing information, and processing online parts orders.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, both over the phone and in person, and be able to work collaboratively with our parts manager to deliver optimal outcomes for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize a problem-solving approach to address challenges and find effective solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, building lasting partnerships with customers.
  • Unload, receive, and store incoming parts and other materials in the warehouse and yard.
  • Locate parts and other materials, and ship to customers and other branches.
  • Recognize substitute parts when necessary, leveraging knowledge of interchangeability to fulfill requirements effectively.
  • Offer support to branch service technicians as needed.
  • Place inventory stock orders.
  • Make inventory and bin adjustments.
  • Accurately and completely document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information.
  • Use parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in the parts industry preferred.
  • Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills.
  • Journeyperson Certification is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer and utilizing software such as Excel to input and manage data effectively.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate peak seasons, including working shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.
