Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Analyst to join our team at AutoTrader Media. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing reports and analysis of the commercial aspects of the Sales function nationally. This role will leverage internal and external data sources to provide detailed analysis, develop next steps, and articulate findings in areas such as budgets and forecasts, cost control, monthly/quarterly/annual/year end reporting, target-setting, remuneration plans, and incentives.

Main Responsibilities
The Commercial Analyst will be responsible for preparing and consolidating daily, weekly, monthly financial and analytical reports in areas such as sales expenses, budgets, targets. The role will also involve self-review and a high level of accuracy is required. Ability to deal with information from multiple sources, analyze data and report findings, and provide management with a summary of key issues and make recommendations which may have a material impact on operation.

Key Performance Indicators
The Commercial Analyst will be responsible for preparing and consolidating financial and analytical reports covering targets, incentives and remuneration. The role will also involve periodically reviewing and updating remuneration / compensation / incentives plans, providing management with a summary of key issues and make recommendations, and working with HR and Sales Management to implement changes to these plans.

Market Analytics Support
The Commercial Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end campaign flow, working with the Marketing Intelligence team to develop the required customer lists, working with the Sales Optimization team to develop report requirements, working with the G2M Manager to provide timely, in-depth analysis and reporting on campaign performance compared to targets, and working with the G2M Manager to develop tactics to increase Customer retention/ Adoption. The role will also involve ensuring that learning is conducted and enhancements are recommended to the overall campaign process flow, and supporting other ad hoc programs as required.

Expenses and Billing
The Commercial Analyst will be responsible for providing financial and analytical reports covering Sales expenses, units, and targets, providing management with a summary of key issues and make recommendations, and supporting AutoTrader Media billing.

Strategy and Planning
The Commercial Analyst will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategy for optimizing the CRM system for both sales and customer support, developing both the short and long term roadmap for system development, acting as the Subject Matter Expert for the sales organization, and being the primary contact for IT. The role will also involve defining all business requirements for IT and signing off on development projects.

Business Optimization and Processes Enhancement
The Commercial Analyst will be responsible for reviewing all internal processes from AutoTrader Media from all departments, making sure that the processes are documented and centralized, and making suggestions on optimizing business processes to leadership to help business to get more efficient.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree along with accounting designation (CMA or MBA), 3-5 years of work experience in finance supporting business units, solid experience in data analysis, strong computer skills (advanced Excel and MS Access) along with financial modeling experience, and knowledge and experience working within Sales is an asset. The candidate will also have strong analytical, communication, presentation, priority management and organizational skills, ability to support the strategic direction and execute the supporting plan, strong interpersonal skills, quick learner and ability to take ownership of key tasks, demonstrated solid judgment and decision-making skills, and strong organizational and time management skills, ability to manage and handle multiple priorities and projects, work under pressure to meet deadlines.
