Medical Science Liaison, Neurosciences Specialist

Eli Lilly and Company is seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team in Ontario, Canada. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will serve as a scientific resource for Canadian experts in the field of Oncology and related disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with the scientific community.
- Provide scientific information and support to external customers, including scientific experts, researchers, and clinical investigators.
- Effectively communicate with Scientific Experts and Thought Leaders to provide up-to-date scientific knowledge and services that meet their needs.
- Respond to requests for in-depth scientific information and provide accurate, up-to-date medical and scientific knowledge.
- Continually enhance scientific knowledge and maintain technical expertise within a therapeutic area.
- Support the affiliate medical business objectives and cross-functional partners.
We are looking for a candidate with an advanced degree in health sciences (PhD, MD, Pharm D) and 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience in Neurosciences. Alternatively, a Master's degree in healthcare or a professional designation (BScN, PT, RD, etc.) with 5 or more years of relevant clinical experience in Neuroscience may be considered. Previous MSL experience and sound knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry are also highly valued.
Preferred Skills- Intellectual curiosity and intelligence about the field of Neuroscience.
- Ability to critically appraise scientific information and literature.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex scientific content in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with external customers.
- Familiarity with the academic community and medical research.
- Significant direct experience in servicing customer needs for complex information.
- Experience in professional networking with positive, mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills.
