Job Title: Medical Science Liaison, Rare DiseaseJob Summary:

Pendopharm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Science Liaison to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will play a key role in establishing our presence with national Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and academic institutions in select therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute medical strategies and tactical plans, including congress activities, advisory boards, medical education opportunities, and scientific training.
  • Identify and engage key opinion leaders and organizations to foster collaborative relationships.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal cross-functional teams and external collaborators.
  • Provide scientific and strategic support for post-marketing studies and investigator-initiated trials.
  • Stay up-to-date with clinical data, new therapies, and clinical trends to identify opportunities and threats.
Requirements:
  • Advanced scientific or clinical degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, etc.).
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience in Medical Affairs or Medical Science Liaison.
  • Demonstrated experience in building relationships with KOLs, HCPs, and patient advocacy groups.
  • Therapeutic area experience in Endocrinology or Rare Diseases is an asset.
  • Ability to travel ≥50% of the time.
