Medical Science Liaison Neurosciences-Western Canada

As a Medical Science Liaison for Neurosciences in Western Canada, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare by facilitating scientific exchange between the academic community and our company.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health sciences, with a PhD, MD, or Pharm D degree, and 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience in Neurosciences. They will be responsible for responding to requests for in-depth scientific information from the medical community, gathering feedback and insight from scientific experts, and ensuring compliance with all applicable guidelines and regulations.
The successful candidate will have excellent presentation skills, the ability to critically appraise scientific information, and strong project management skills. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment, prioritize key projects, and communicate complex scientific information in a clear and concise manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with the scientific community.
- Provide scientific information and support to healthcare professionals, including researchers, educators, and clinical investigators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Medical Information Associates, Medical Education, and Marketing.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific literature and research in the field of Neurosciences.
- Communicate effectively with scientific experts and thought leaders to gather feedback and insight.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in health sciences (PhD, MD, Pharm D) with 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience in Neurosciences.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to critically appraise scientific information.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
