About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Radiological Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team in the Central Zone. This casual relief position requires flexibility, including shift work, evenings, nights, weekends, and holiday coverage. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care while operating radiological/accessory equipment with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and initiative to prioritize duties effectively. A graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology, Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification, and Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure are essential requirements.

Qualifications to work in more than one Diagnostic Imaging modality and Basic Life Support Certification are considered assets. In addition, proficiency in multiple languages, particularly French, is valued. The successful candidate will have excellent time management skills, physical capabilities to perform the duties of the position, and ability to work collaboratively within inter-professional teams.

Job Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology
  • CAMRT certification
  • NSCMIRTP licensure
  • Previous experience is an asset
  • Qualification to work in more than one Diagnostic Imaging modality is an asset
  • BLS Certification
