Job Summary

The ROCKWOOL Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Director to lead the development and execution of our North American marketing strategy. This is a full-time position based at our Milton, ON headquarters with up to 20% travel.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth in the North American market.
  • Lead a high-performing team of marketing professionals to achieve marketing objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, and Public Affairs, to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Manage and optimize the North American marketing budget to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external marketing agencies, including creative, event, and public relations agencies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market research to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Travel up to 20% throughout Canada and the US to support marketing initiatives and engage with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong data analytics background and experience with marketing metrics and KPIs.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage budgets, lead cross-functional teams, and drive results-oriented marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex marketing concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with national distributors and managing external marketing agencies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
