About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our Logistics Operations team at Dynamic Freight Haulers. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our transportation management functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring optimal use of resources to achieve business objectives.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes open communication and teamwork.
  • Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish and maintain financial and administrative controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Promotional Campaigns: Formulate and approve promotional campaigns to drive business growth and increase market share.
  • Human Resources Planning: Approve overall human resources planning, including recruitment, training, and development initiatives.
  • Organizational Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, ensuring effective communication and representation of company interests.
  • Leadership Development: Select and develop middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in their roles.
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in a leadership role within the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Proven track record of success in managing teams, driving business growth, and improving operational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
