Interior Health Authority is seeking a Healthcare Operations Coordinator to join our team in Kelowna, BC. This permanent full-time position offers an attractive remuneration package and excellent career prospects.

The Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational requirements of the Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) program, supervising staff, and interacting with personnel at all levels in the organization. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, certification in Sterile Processing, and three to five years of recent, related experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating activities of assigned MDR team(s) by establishing and communicating priorities and overseeing activities.
  • Assuring compliance with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations regarding supplies and equipment processed.
  • Liaising with personnel at all levels in the organization, including Directors, Managers, and physicians, and outside agencies to communicate policies and procedures and provide maximum service delivery.

The salary range for this position is $74,618 to $107,264 per annum. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees.
