Technical Leader in Healthcare Design and Delivery

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced Technical Leader in Healthcare Design and Delivery to join our team. This role requires a collaborative mindset, with excellent leadership and technical skills. As a Principal Electrical Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for designing and delivering major healthcare projects, ranging from 80,000 sqft to 800,000 sqft in size.
- Interface regularly with architectural and engineering leaders across North America to contribute to the integrated design practice.
- Serve as a local leader, inspiring your team, representing healthcare design, and reinforcing the global brand of Stantec.
- Sustain and grow revenue within your region and across the North American market, attracting top-tier clients and achieving top-line growth for the health sector.
As a Technical Leader, you will collaborate with technical and managerial project leads to achieve key operational performance metrics, including financial metrics and improved health outcomes. You will also lead local and regional business development pursuits, contributing to the thought leadership and brand of Stantec.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project teams across a range of healthcare project types and scales, balancing a book of business in this regard.
- Have direct design experience in Power, Lighting, and Low Voltage systems, with a strong understanding of Electrical Engineering for health facilities.
- Experience strategic pre-positioning for pursuits, engagement strategies, responding to Expression of Interests, Statements of Qualifications, Requests for Proposals, formal interviews, and professional fee and contract negotiations.
You will have excellent organization, coordination, leadership, team-building, and team-engagement talents, with knowledge of market assessment techniques and insights. A Bachelors' degree in Engineering or equivalent is required, with Licensed and credentialed Engineer preferred. Experience and understanding of Mechanical systems is highly preferred.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around $145,000-$175,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
