Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of new policies and procedures by collaborating with medical leads and clinical areas. This includes providing technical guidance and advice, facilitating solutions for Point of Care Testing programs, and ensuring consistency with professional standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promoting Effectiveness and Efficiency: Collaborate with internal and external partners to share knowledge and incorporate current best practices in health service delivery.
  • Quality Improvement and Risk Management: Participate in the development and implementation of local quality improvement and risk management initiatives in accordance with Interior Health standards and processes.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze current trends and data related to Point of Care Testing to inform operational decisions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant healthcare profession or related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in point-of-care testing, including two years of leadership experience.
  • Advanced laboratory science degrees and project management certification are desirable.
