Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
- Regulatory Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient stock levels and minimize waste.
- Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to protect employees and customers.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best deals.
- Marketing and Customer Service: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, address customer complaints or concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to drive sales and customer loyalty.
- Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficient and effective restaurant management.
- Communication: Excellent oral communication skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and suppliers.
- Organizational Skills: Organized and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
- Reliability: Reliable and able to maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork: A team player who can work collaboratively with staff to achieve common goals.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree, 1 year to less than 2 years of experience, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
